I'm still here

It is been a while, but I am still here. I am just busy with my family and work and more work. Even though it is summer here in Texas and the children is off from school, but I am still busy. I am more busy when they are home because of all the summer activities that are going on. The three of them are doing swimming lesson everyday for two weeks and on weekends  the two of them playing baseball. So there is no break, but every now and then I will try to update my blog. Movie Night

Last night my family and I were watching movie until eleven o'clock. It was a little late already for my children, but they were just thrilled that I was watching with them. We watched the  "Coming To America with Eddie Murphy". It was a funny movie with him went to New York looking for a wife to be. One part of the movie was Liza got engage to her boyfriend without giving her a ring. That would be nice if he got a ring from Scott Kay engagement rings from Reeds. Liza was so upset so she turned to Eddie Murphy until she developed her feelings for him. It was a fun family movie to watch. I am looking forward next weekend for our family movie night.

we missed it

Yesterday afternoon we were supposed to go to our niece birthday party, but we never went. It was raining hard with thunder and lightening we were afraid to get out the house. Also, I never get a chance to buy a presents, but it was not really the reason. Before the rain I went to Walmart to buy a gift, but the store closed early. I heard that the store’s power went off and they needed to close the store. They asked all the people to go home and it was really bad. I did not have enough time to go to the mall so I went home. I decided to just go to the party without any gift until it started raining. Yesterday was our niece first birthday party and we were sad that we missed it.

Makes me Smile

Time flies so quickly soon the kids will start going back to school that means that summer is almost over and fall season will soon be here. You know about the fall season most people are excited to have it come because it is the holiday season. My husband keeps telling me to prepare for holiday and start buying presents for our children so we will not spend too much money when it Christmas is here. I think it is still too early for that but one thing I am sure to do is to have a Christmas photo cards of my children. I always have them a photo cards every year and send them to my family and friends. Their previous photo cards for the last two years are still hanging on our refrigerator door. I like looking with it makes me smile.

He likes Freddy

This afternoon I asked my son to write his name again on paper to practice because in a week he will go back to school. He will be in the first grade this year, last year he was using his neck name “Freddy” but this time I want him to use his real name “Earnest” at first he did not like it because he said he likes Freddy instead of Earnest so we argued for few minutes until he agreed with me. I know why he doesn’t like his real name because he does not want to practice writing it. He only wants to play with his Nintendo and does not want to practice and study. He was writing well and I told him that every day he will write his name so that he will not forget until the start of school.

This afternoon my son asked me if he could go swimming in his swimming pool. It is a children’s pool that I bought at Walmart for only $7.00 a couple of weeks ago. I told him to wait until night time when it is a little cooler outside. The temperature outside here today was 101 degrees. It is really hot. When I was driving home from work I do not want to get in my car to drive, because it was very hot. My husband said the temperature in our car gets over 150 degrees in the sun. Anyway, around 8:30pm he went outside in our backyard and started playing in the water in his pool. He was really happy that I let him swim in his small pool.

Freddy and Charles

This picture was taking on Easter Sunday my son Freddy with his friend Charles and some other kids were hunting Easter Eggs. I forgot to bring his sweater and it was cold he was lucky that his daddy had a flannel shirt in our car so he could wear it. He looks like a small daddy.

This is also were he entered a games with some of the kids walking with a spoon in their mouth with an egg on it. He was afraid he might loss the egg so he was holding the spoon. It was funny :-)))

I miss my family

Yesterday I planned to go to bed right after checking my emails because of my headache. When I checked my friendster account I saw my cousin’s account had new pictures from the wedding of my sister on February 28th and most of my family was in the pictures. I was looking at the pictures and I stayed on the computer late again. It is okay I miss my family especially my sisters and my mama. They looked very happy and were having fun. I am happy to see them in the pictures but I am sad that I am not with them. I have four sisters and no brother and four of us were married now the only one left single is our youngest sister. I would like to attend her wedding but she never invites me so it is okay. Just kidding! They had a double wedding with our cousin so it was really fun.

When our daughters were a few months old my husband and I never ate out. We always stays home and if we like to eat in a restaurant we always order it delivered or we went through the drive. Now that they are a ten months old we can go eat out. We can put them in the baby chair at the restaurant. Like this one last week when we went in the Jack in the Box. They are very happy here but I have to watch out for them because if they get a chance they have to lick the chair and it is dirty.

Freddy and Preston

My son Freddy with his cousin Preston on Christmas day in our house. They are both having fun opening their presents together. Preston has just turn four years old December 18th. They lives close to our house but not close enough to walk. He is the only boy too with his mom and dad like my son my one and only boy.

My son was helping me mixing the ingredients of the cake in the bowl. He was very happy when I asked him to help me. He likes helping me when I am cooking that is why I asked him every time I am cooking and baking. He is very proud and telling every body that he is helping me especially his daddy.

Last week before Christmas my son was telling his daddy that he wants a big dinosaur for Christmas. I told him that he had one already and it was in the bedroom. I got it and gave it to him. He was very happy that he had one. Wherever he goes he brings it with him even while he is asleep. Like this picture he was sleeping in the playpen of my daughters. And still carrying with him the toy dinosaur. It was funny and I think he is very cute.

This picture was taken Christmas night. I gave him the money that was sent to him from my cousin who is in California. He was very happy when he saw the money. He cannot believe that he got money. He has no plans of what he is going to do with it. I think I might use this to buy a lotto ticket! Just kidding it goes in his bank account!

Last time I went shopping in JC Penney with my son he found this croc sandal lightning McQueen his favorite character from the movie cars. He asked me to get it for him so I bought it. He always wears it at home and even he was sleeping he do not want to take it off. Like this one he was sleeping in our couch it was funny.

Christmas in the Park

Last night my son and his cousins went to the park near our home. They are have Christmas in the Park and of course Santa Clause was their. They went there around seven PM it was very cold and windy that is why he is covered all over. He said that he set down on Santa’s lap and he told him that he wants an electric car, toys and a big dinosaur with batterys.

Leann and Preston with my son they are his cousins. They were playing and running around the house. He never even ate, every time I asked him if he wants food he said no. When they left he felt sad but he was tired. Now even though it is still early here but he is already asleep and snoring.

Garden Ridge shopping

This afternoon my niece, our children and I went to Garden Ridge shopping for Christmas decoration. My son wants to have his picture taken with the Santa clause display. It is lucky my niece has a camera phone. He is all smiles and happy with a Santa clause hat on. With him is his cousin Kenny.

He lIkes Car

My son looks very happy while test driving the car at the auto show while trying to smile and pose for me. He likes to drive a car even before while he was little his daddy would put him behind the wheel and let him steer the car. If his daddy is working on his car he is daddy’s little helper. Now if I asked him what he wants for Christmas he says a car. I might get him one but a car toy.

Toy Chainsaw

This picture was taken when my son still two years old. His daddy bought him a toy chainsaw and he was very happy to use it in our front yard. Now that he is already four years old he is still has this toy but he never plays with it anymore. He is starting to play games on the computer already.

Ohhhhhh Jollibee

While I was checking on my friendster account looking for new pictures of some family and friends I found this from my cousin. The girl who is on the right side wearing a blue hat and shades is my cousin and I think the kids are her students. They got a chance to be with the Jollibee mascot. They look very happy and having fun. I missed eating at Jollibee, I like their chicken, pancake but most of all their mango pie. I wish there was a Jollibee here in Texas.
