Vegetables

My friend at work who lives in the country keeps giving me vegetable because he has a lot of vegetable in his garden. I am so happy every time he gave me something even though I do not know how to cook some of them. My other friends are very happy too because I share with them. Last time he gave me a lot of red peppers, ampalaya, upo and more and I gave them all to my friends, they were very happy. One time my friend told me of why my husband marry me that I do not know how to cook I was just laughing to him. My husband did not expect me to cook for him and when I do he is very happy. Anyway the picture attached was the opo he gave me and they were big opos.

Durian Candy

This is a durian candy that my friend gave to me when she went back here from the Philippines last week. It is been a long time since the last time that I had this candy. This is one of my favorite candies while I was in Pinas before. This candy is just so good and smells good for me. Unfortunately my friend brought a little but a small bag of it so I never get to eat a lot but I was still glad and thankful for the candy.

Turkey leg

When we went to the Mesquite Rodeo last month there was a lot of food there. My friend Gaga bought this smoked turkey leg. It is her favorite food. I was looking for it because I wanted to eat too but I could not find the store that sells it. So gaga shared her turkey leg with me and it was really good. I got myself a cheese burger I did not like it as much as the turkey leg.

favorite fruit

Grapes is my son’s favorite fruit, of all the fruits he likes this best. That is why every time I go to the grocery I always buy him grapes. I want to make sure that he eats some fruits. He also likes bananas and apples but if there are grapes he eats them first before the other fruits. Bananas and apples always come in second.

Pancit Canton

I really like eating Pancit canton but I am too lazy to cook or sometimes I don’t have enough time to cook. I always buy Lucky Me Pancit Canton from the Asian store. I don’t have much of a choice. It is very quick to make, just put hot water on the noodles and put in microwave for two minutes then mix the powder then it is ready to eat.

Oohhh Lechon

I grab this pictures from my friend Cristy’s profile at Friendster. I really miss eating Lechon although I tasted some Lechon here during a party but in the Philippines it taste really good. You can't stop eating it.

i missed eating banana cue

I missed eating banana cue it is one of my favorite foods from home Every time I go to the Asian store I look at the banana but they do not have any that I can use to make it with. If they do have any bananas I can use they have gone bad already. I can cook banana cue since I used to sell them to the neighbors back home. I hope next time I go shopping I can find good banana.

chinese foods

This afternoon I felt hungry I already ate two hotdogs with chili, and I am still hungry. I ordered Chinese foods, for me and my son. His favorite is chicken of course and because they have no nuggets I ordered sweet and sour chicken and for me beef broccoli. After 20 minutes somebody was knocking on our door the delivery man. My son is very happy eating his chicken. He is not eating the rice and other stuff, he only ate the chicken.

My son really likes to eat sky flakes crackers, they are his favorite snack or sometimes his dinner. If he doesn’t like the food we have or if we are out of his favorite chicken then all he has to eat are crackers. I think he can eat one box of crackers in a week. That is why every time I go to the Asian store I make sure that I get one or two boxes for him. Sometimes I give him crackers from here but he doesn’t like them. I wish he would eat other food but he won’t even taste them. He is a picky little man.
