my apple pie

Today when my son came home from school he had a red ribbon stuck to his shirt. The school gave all the students ribbons that say “choose to be drug free” and he showed me the ribbons and asked me, do you know what this is mama? I said no! He said it says no drugs. He doesn’t know about drugs and I thought he is going to ask me what drugs are. Like when we were in the church on Sunday, he heard the priest talking about Jesus and he said mama he is talking about Jesus, you know that he died, why did he die mama? I was telling him of why Jesus died. My son is asking a lot of question and sometimes I don’t know the answer. This morning he said that his teacher is happy that he is always a good boy in class. I am very proud of him. He is always my apple pie!
