maybe next time

Yesterday one of my friends asked me if I want to go with her to the Pilipino/American valentine’s party. I would like to go but I was thinking about my children who will watch them when I go with her. My husband will still be working and will be home around 9pm and the party will start at 7pm. I do not want to ask my sister in law because she is always watching my children during the weekdays. I told my friend that I cannot go maybe next year. Every time there is a Pilipino party she always asked me to go and I always say next time. It is difficult for me to go to a party and leave my children‘s home. I think next time when they are older maybe I will be ready to go with her. When I talked to her after the party she said that some of our friends were there too and they enjoyed the party. I hope next time I am able to attend and that is if their is somebody to take care my children.
