kitchen rugs

Since we moved here in our house two years ago, I have been thinking of buying a kitchen rugs for our kitchen. I am looking for a nice rug but I am worried about my daughters playing with them. I worry they might fall down on them. I really do no not like not having a rug in our kitchen but I think I will have to wait for a few months until they are bigger. Even the rug by our front door they keep playing it and they will not stop.
