Oily Skin

I have always had oily skin on my face it is one of my problems and blackheads are another. I used face powder to help my face to dry up the oil but that never lasted more than a few minutes. The powder was gone and my face is shiny again. I did not like to see my self in the mirror because of the shine and it made me feel bad about myself. I always wondered why my skin is oily and face powder did not help me until I got tired of putting it to my face. I hope I can find a solution that works on my oily face I really hate it.
