batting practice

My son is going to have a baseball practice tonight at the batting cage with his teammates. We thought that the practice been canceled because we have not heard from his coach, but a few minutes we got the notice. My son was happy already they there is no practice, but he was wrong. His daddy will take him tonight. Tomorrow will be their last baseball game for this season and I am not sure if they have to play in summer. His coach told them already that he is not sure yet about summer season. I like it if they do not play summer because it is so hot out there for them.
