blue microphone musicians friend

I thought my husband was joking about  starting a band with our children but I think he may be serious about it. He already has a guitar for our children to learn to play when they are older today I found him online looking at microphones and when I asked him what he was looking at he said “blue microphone musicians friend”. I hope he is not thinking of being the singer in this band because he can not sing at all. I never even heard him singing when we have the karaoke on. I do not know why his thinking about his kids being in a band someday.
